Here are my Top 10 Sales for June 2014
June is a busy time for both College and High School seniors. Families travel and celebrate the next chapter in that person's life.
I wanted to create some unique looking products that served the dual purpose of providing a memento for the occasion and also getting the word out about the ceremony.
Since this was a new idea, there are only a small number of color palettes. I definitely plan on expanding the options for the upcoming years. Class Of 2014 Greeting Cards have definitely been a popular item. This is/was perfect for gifts or thoughtful messages.
2. Keep Calm And Take A Nap Throw Pillow (Light Blue)
In a viral sea of Keep Calm concepts, I wanted to throw a bunch of sarcasm, snark and dry wit into the mix.
Every month gives me different results and I never know if people find the phrases funny, but this Take A Nap design was the best of the bunch for June.
Ideally, these are best suited for dorm rooms, first apartments, people entering College or even folks that like a dose of humor, as a conversation piece.

I've always been fascinated with why certain colors sell more than others. Back in February 2014, I was in a mode of wanting to create positive message or inspirational types of products.
There's so much negativity in the world today and the media outlets are all full of doom and gloom.
If one of my designs can be worn and cheer someone up, then my job was a success. Be More Awesome is a simple concept that applies to everyone on this planet. Strive to be great! If it doesn't happen for you today, try again tomorrow.
All of these Be More Awesome designs sell and give me different results each month, but the Pea Green version has been the most popular. Dayglow Green was my favorite color in high school and was the reason I created that color first.
These stamps come in sheets of 20 and can be adjusted to any postage denomination. As always, these designs are customizable for your convenience.
I am originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and this particular color palette was inspired by the University Of Tulsa school colors.
The race is neck-and-neck between this color combo and the Red/White featured in #1. Either way, I'm very thankful for the orders and hope to spice it up even more for 2015.
5. I Love Arizona (Arizona State Sun Devils Theme - Yellow/Black) T-Shirt
A major undertaking I tackled in the Summer of 2013 was what I call the "State Pride" series. If you know me, saying I'm a football fan is a major understatement. I developed the notion that people might actually like the town they reside or the state that they call home.
I've tried to match up color palettes, based on the University and College football programs in each state, as best I can.
This particular design was loosely based on the Arizona State Sun Devils classic uniform design. In the last few years, they have switched up their color palette, but their tried and true yellow/black combo has been the most popular.
If you are a fan of your local school, there are a plethora of products available, hopefully, at my Hometown USA store. That shop is designed specifically for the sports-minded customer and I'm really happy with how the designs, collectively, turned out. Arizona and California have been the states that have sold the best, over the last year.
My favorite thing about the T-Shirt designs are that the customer can decide what color shirt they want. White was the best this month, but the black shirt has been the top performer in that series.
6. Zen Path Greeting Cards
For whatever reason, this has been my best international seller. I am a huge fan of mailorder and am more interested in where the product ships, than I am in the commission it generates.
People from all over the world purchasing my designs is nothing short of humbling. These are exotic locals like Liechtenstein, Germany, France and the Virgin Islands. Places I will likely never get to visit.
I found this design to be a nice, relaxing stress-reliever that would be great for people who appreciate landscaping and horticulture, in general. As I get older, it's little things like a quiet stroll in a peaceful garden that I appreciate the most.
World Cup Fever is in full swing and anticipating this, I started up a World Sports Fan shop devoted to pride in one's country. When flying, one of the most challenging things I face is grabbing my luggage off of the carousel.
I'm color blind and made the mistake of purchasing luggage that everyone else seems to own, as well. These luggage tags are a great way to create easy identifiers so that the carousel is a breeze and you're on your way to your next destination. The World Sports Fan Shop features dozens of different country flags, which I created for international travellers.
Another reason that these tags have been popular has to do with the customizable feature. You can customize the tag by typing in your information on the reverse side of the tag, which will save you a step. If your luggage were ever to get misplaced, they would have a way to contact you for retrieval.
I'm not sure why this design has been so popular in Germany, but it is what it is. Both this and the Zen Path have been popular in Europe and the customizable feature is the thing that the customer is taking advantage of the most.
I have dozens of different background images that make the perfect aesthetic for your customizable message, initials or witty text.
These stickers come in sheets of 6 or 20, depending on the size. Some designers prefer to keep their creations "as is", but I feel that by allowing you to do whatever you want, maybe you'll keep coming back? All I can say is "GERMANY ROCKS!"
I'm not a huge fan of collecting comic books, but I appreciate the artistic designs and the craftmanship that go into the art.

One day, I got the wild idea to try some public domain comic book covers and this was one of the results.
I dig the way they look and think they are interesting gift ideas for the comic lover in your family. The Atomic War! series has interesting imagery and I thought the series would look great.

My high school colors were red, white and black. These colors are my preference on anything black and the very first design I created in the State Pride series was using this color palette.
Once I got the color right, the game turned into, "How fast can I get all of the states knocked out?".
Needless to say, I am really happy with how this entire series has turned out and I'm glad that there are people out there that also have enjoyed them. This particular trucker hat went to a resident in Montana, which is rare (so far).
Normally, transplanted people want a reminder of their old stomping grounds and order accordingly. Either way, I'm extremely happy that they liked it.
